What the client needed
Oil paintings have deep impasto texture that is nearly impossible to reproduce faithfully. The artist needed prints that would be indistinguishable from the originals to gallery visitors.
The Solution
How we solved it
- Used giclée on canvas with gloss varnish to mimic oil paint sheen
- Applied texture overlay printing to simulate brushstroke depth
- Stretched reproductions on 1.5" deep-edge bars, gallery-ready
- Matched frame profiles to originals for display consistency
